Top 3 Highlights from ATSSA Convention and Traffic Expo 2022!
We recently attended ATSSA’s 52nd Annual Convention and Traffic Expo in Tampa, Florida from February 11 – 15, 2022. As one of our first in-person indoor trade shows in 2 years, it was an excited weekend to catch up with other industry professionals and friends under the Florida sun. Here are our top 3 highlights:
1. ATSS Foundation Support
On February 11, the ATSS Foundation hosted two different tournaments: Golf Classic and Clays Event. While we were a platinum sponsor for the golf tournament and a station sponsor for the clays event, we also had several employees and vendors participate in on the fun!
Our successful Smart Cushion® Crash Attenuator auction to raise money for the ATSS Foundation finished just prior to the Traffic Expo. The winner, Kevin Cooper from D&M Traffic Services, was publicly announced and the $28,000 check was handed to the ATSS Foundation to continue their amazing efforts.
2. Booth Layout
This year, we had booths #1505 & 1605 side by side with an arch in the middle aisle to tie them together. With the constant stream of people and two scheduled happy hours, it was great to catch up with everyone and show off our new products.
3. New Products
In our booth, we unveiled not one but four new products on display!

Our full-matrix Speed Awareness Monitor display is capable of showing a two-digit speed and “Slow Down” message, making drivers aware when they are traveling above the speed limit.

Our latest on-board, self-contained computer with edge to edge touchscreen capabilities is our latest innovation to easily manage trailer products, such as Message Boards. The user-friendly layout quickly allows workers to add and modify messages and speed limits, while setting schedules to allow less time a worker needs to be on the side of a dangerous road.
